RACQUETBALL CHALLENGE LADDER

The purpose of the Challenge Ladder is to meet new racquetball players, increase skill level and aerobic activity, and have lots of fun! If you would like to be part of the ladder, contact Jeff Narron at 704-904-4058 or e-mail at jeff.narron@remasonco.com. Jeff will add you to the ladder, which is kept on a computer database. (It's FREE!)

Rules

1.     New players must start at the bottom of the ladder.
2.     Players should try to play at least one match every 2 weeks to keep the ladder active.
3.     A player may challenge a player up to 2 spots above them on the ladder. (Example: Player #4 may challenge Player #3 or Player #2, but cannot challenge Player #1.)
4.     All matches will be the best 2 of 3 games (first 2 games to 15, tie-breaker, if necessary, will be played to 11). USRA rules are to be followed. The rules can be found at www.usra.org.
5.     If the lower ranked player beats the higher ranked player, the lower ranked player will take the higher rank and the preciously higher ranked player will take the lower rank (they'll swap spots).
6.     If a challenged player refuses to schedule to play the challenge match within 2 weeks (with the expectation of unusual circumstances like sick or vacation), they will forfeit their position (same as if they lost).
7.     If you have been challenged, you must play that match before you can schedule to challenge someone above you on the ladder.
8.     Game scores are to be reported to Jeff Narron. The ladder will be updated each week.
9.     Racquetball equipment must be used. (You can get equipment from the FLC office). Eye guards are highly recommended. Challenger normally provides the racquetballs for the match.

Remember: Safety comes first!  if there's any chance you might hit your opponent with your racquet or the ball, hold up and play it over!
