Sunday Mornings

Children learn best when teaching methods are varied. Sunday mornings present a variety of activities designed to teach Bible truths and build a foundation of faith. Caring teachers and workers involve themselves in the lives of children as they minister on the child's level.  Think Sunday School! There is no better way for your child to enjoy coming to church than to get them plugged into Sunday School! in Sunday School they make friends, worship Christ, and get excited about His plan for their life!

Each Sunday morning there are a number of Sunday School classes available at 8:00am, 9:15am or 10:45am.  Preschool children can be involved in Sunday School for 2 hours.

For birth - 2 year olds on Sunday morning
Childcare and Sunday School is provided for birth - 2 year olds.

For 3 year olds - 2nd grade on Sunday morning

During the 9:15 hour, 3 year olds - 2nd grade take part in a one of a kind kid's worship we call The Big Attic. Plus, they can enjoy an hour of Sunday School with other children their age at 8:00am or 10:45am.

 While your child is taking part in Sunday School, you can enjoy both a Worship Service and a an adult Small Group Bible Study, we also call Sunday School.

Join us and grow each Sunday. We have a spot for your child in Sunday School. Our desire, as in Luke 2:52, is for all children to grow in favor with the Lord!

 

Wednesday Nights

WZoneW-ZONE is packed with more power packed games including all new lessons for both music and Bible. Children choose to join either the W-ZONE Choir or W-ZONE Team Kid. Jump in the ZONE every Wednesday at 6:45pm. W-ZONE is for 4 year olds through 5th grade.

Childcare is available on Wednesday nights for birth through 3 year olds.

 

New Beginnings

New Beginnings

New Beginnings is for those that have children two and under or for those who are expecting. Every other month we will have a time for new and expectant moms to enjoy some great food and connect with others that are in the same season of life as well as opportunities to connect with and meet the Preschool Ministry staff. Various guests come to our events and cover topics that are meaningful and relevant to new parents. Call 704-531-3495 for more information. Childcare is available.

Weekday Preschool & Mother's Morning Out 2010-2011 Registration

It is that time of year to enroll your child in either Weekday Preschool or Mother’s Morning Out for the 2010-2011 year. Your child will enjoy making new friends and learning about God and all of His creations that they will explore. Both programs are from 9:00am to 1:00pm and will begin September 2010 and extend through May 2011. Cost is $80.00 per child.

Re-enrollment for current students and siblings: February 8-19, 2010- 9:00am to 1:00pm in the Weekday Preschool or Mother’s Morning Out office.

Registration for Church Members and HGBCS siblings: February 22, 2010- 9:00am to noon in the lobby of the Children’s Building #4.

Registration Open to the Public: February 23, 2010- 9:00am to noon in the Lobby of the Children’s Building #4.

Saddle up for Saddle Ridge Ranch! A VBS where kids can ask questions and discover the answers found in God’s Word.
